Russian Grave-Robbing Bears Feasting on the Dead

In a region near the Arctic Circle, where the ground temperature serves to keep buried bodies preserved ‘like a big refrigerator’ a group of bears has discovered a lovely, easy-access source for a meaty dinner – the local cemetery.

While some wildlife experts say that the bears have started grave-robbing out of desperation after a summer drought left normal food supplies absent, other experts say the quick learning bears are just lazy opportunist, and that after one bear learned about the easy meaty dinners, he just taught the rest to do likewise.
