Lawyer Who Investigated Sen. Ted Stevens Kills Himself

Nicholas A. Marsh
Nicholas A. Marsh, 37, a junior member of the prosecution team investigating a corruption case against Alaska Senator Ted Stevens, R, committed suicide over the weekend. His team had come under investigation by a special prosecutor for possible legal improprieties that led a judge to vacate the corruption case in 2008.
Joshua Berman, a close friend of Marsh’s and former prosecutor, called Marsh’s death “an unbelievable tragedy.”
“I have no doubt his exoneration was imminent, his name was going to be cleared and this cloud would finally be lifted over him,” Berman said of Marsh.
