In Spain, Finding a Hooker Just Got Easier

Spanish ProstitutePolice in the town of Els Alamus Spain have ordered prostitutes who ply their trade by a rural highway to wear neon yellow vests, or risk a $55 dollar fine for the breaking of a town ordinance that requires pedestrians by roadways to don a highly visible vest.

Prostitution is legal in Spain and there are an estimated 300 000 sex workers plying their trade. Critics accuse the mayor of the town of trying to run prostitutes out of the area through measures such as the mandatory wearing if vests.
