BP Oil Donating Big Money to US Candidates Who Deny Climate Change

Climate Action Network Europe just completed an analysis of campaign donations flooding into the US for this electoral season, and they say that 80% of US election donations from some of Europe’s biggest polluters have gone to candidates that oppose action on climate change – or flat out deny its existence.

2 recipients of offshore contributions include Jim DeMint, of South Carolina, and climate change denier, James Inhofe, of Oklahoma.
